Proven experience as a Manager (Factory) or similar role in the related manufacturing industry.
Having Degree in Operation Management will be an added advantage.

Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Should be self-motivated, energetic & good at working under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary:
The Manager of Factory Operations & Administration is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the factory. This role combines operational management with administrative oversight to ensure smooth and efficient production processes, compliance with safety and quality standards, and effective resource management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all administrative functions of the factory, including facility management, inventory control, and documentation processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Inspect Delivery Vehicles for damage and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with planning, logistics, and other departments to optimise workflow and resource utilisation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create development plans for team members.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Use lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to streamline operations.
- Promote and enforce a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to minimise workplace hazards.
- Assist in budget preparation and control manufacturing costs, including labour, materials, and overhead.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.
- Work with procurement to maintain efficient supply chain operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance activities.
