Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering from a reputed University majoring in Fabric Manufacturing Technology
∎ Textile Engineering from AUST/ BUTEX will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Denim Washing (Dry Process), Garments Washing Plant, Washing Research and Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile, Washing Factory
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Leading R&D team for Woven & Knit;
∎ Maintaining fruitful communication to the concern marketing team;
∎ Developing a cost effective and production friendly product;
∎ Cost Analysis based on product and customer to maximize the benefit;
∎ Developing right product in right time to get positive feedback from customer;
∎ Using ECO friendly materials to get a satisfactory score of EIM;
∎ Developing of sustainable product and washing process to fulfill the customer demand;
∎ Providing quality sample as per buyer requirement;
∎ Preparing a daily sample/development plan;
∎ Follow up the finished goods for on time delivery;
∎ Prepare a development library and record keeping for all types of development and sampling;
∎ Set a QC check point before dispatching the sample to the customer;
∎ Confirming Lab test parameters and call out testing limitations at the sample stage;
∎ Arranging internal training session to the team members to make them understood;
∎ Check quality of the produce sample & check its report from lab and finally send to custom;
∎ Follow up and prepare lab dip based on the pantone /swatch provided by the customer;
∎ Attending meeting with customer for new development and challenge;
∎ Understanding customer needs to cope up the right things;
∎ Risk analysis and limitations to analyze product risk factor, limitations and mitigation;
∎ To take proper corrective action plan to avoid rejection and damages of product and call out for proper precaution to initiate bulk production;
∎ Storing recipe and specimen for future reference;
∎ Focusing on future market to develop special and extraordinary product to emphasize the market trend;
∎ To set a sample /development budget searching a comparative and sustainable raw material from source;
∎ Established a goal and fix challenges for future;
∎ Attending seminar/meeting /Textile fair to understand the present marked trend;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Experience in overseeing implementation, tracking the progress, reporting against the agreed indicators
∎ Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable and flexible environment;
∎ Demonstrated experience of working closely with support functions like finance and logistics, procurement planning.
∎ Independent, positive, can-do attitude and result oriented;
∎ Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the factory;
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office as well as familiar to use ERP like Oracle;
