Experience:
Minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC or equivalent Exam.
Minimum CGPA 3.00 in BBA/MBA(Marketing).
General knowledge of contract laws.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
Minimum 5/ 7 years hotel sales experience.
Proficiency in English Speaking & Writing.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to travel anywhere in Bangladesh.
Develop and implement strategies for achieving individual sales goals.
Develop data and recommend programs to meet clients` needs.
Prepare proposals and contract that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs.
Solicit files on a timely basis to confirm business.
Use outside sales calls, prospecting, hotels tours and hosting of clients to solicit new business.
Contact in-house customers to retain and grow existing business, repeat bookings or referrals to other RHG Hotels.
Review individual and team goals on a weekly basis; recommend and take appropriate actions to achieve objectives in key result areas.
Ensure all materials used are in accordance with brand standards.
Communicate clients` requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner.
Insure maximum occupancy on a daily basis by performing follow-ups on progress of groups booked with events services team.
Assist with the completion of monthly booking report(s).
Prepare reports as necessary to improve management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.
Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork when providing guest service.
Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution and follow through when resolving guest problems.
Provide Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
Assume the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction.
Perform other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
Keep ASOS or DOSM promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Maintain a high standard of personal grooming at all times in order to represent the Hotel in the best possible manner, reflecting the public role of the position.
Be familiar with objectives, strategies, action plans and other marketing related information contained within the Hotel annual business plan.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment.
At all times projects a favorable image of the Hotel to the public.
Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager or Asst. Director of Sales or Director of Sales and Marketing
