∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Business Development, Business Strategy, Customer Relation, Sales & Marketing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline, Freight forwarding, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Shipping

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provides leadership in the development and growth of the freight forwarding business that increases revenue and aggressively acquires new accounts.
∎ Collaborate with the department head in developing and implementing the business development strategy, comprehensive sales/marketing plans, and forecasts.
∎ Identify, propose and implement new business development opportunities that enrich the customer portfolio.
∎ Realize quarterly/yearly sales targets and ensure timely analysis of business performance to review/revise targets if required.
∎ Collaborate with customer services, cross-sectional teams, and foreign counterparts in securing market competitive prices for freight that contributes to increased profitability.
∎ Ensure existing and new client visits every week to generate new sales leads.
∎ Develop customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, cold calling, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
∎ Maintain and develop client relations for new and larger established existing customers, assuring all existing customers are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and develop need-based sales relations.
∎ Develop sales proposals, presentations, and internal paperwork for new customer proposals and presentations.
∎ Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepare post-event reports and analysis.
∎ Ensure timely reports are prepared for concerned offices and follow-up on all queries for smooth operations.
∎ Coordinate with accounts and clients in the timely settlement of all market dues.
∎ Coordinate with support offices at Airport, Warehouse & Chittagong that secures on-time support in cargo shipments.
∎ Collaborate with cross-sectional teams to reduce/prevent system leakage and ensure compliance with local and international regulations for uninterrupted operations.
∎ Train subordinates to enhance their sales/service skills. Ensure timely performance feedback on both an individual and team level that keeps staff motivated.
∎ Maintain good business relations with private and government agencies, organizations, other stakeholders that attract more business queries, hence expanding the customer base.
