Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure 100% implementation of the buyer's COC, Bangladesh Labor Law.
∎ Verify that all licenses, certificates (BSCI, INDITEX, ACCORD & Alliance, etc.) and regulatory policies and procedures have been updated, documented, implemented, and communicated.
∎ Develop and implement the Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental rules and regulations of the workplace and implement in a proper way.
∎ Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention to Health, Safety, and Environment related legislation.
∎ Assess the risks associated with work or workplace and take proper actions to resolve the risks.
∎ Complete the Higg Index assessment and manage all the relevant data/information to complete the assessment.
∎ Ability to conduct OCS & RCS audits.
∎ Coordinate environmental sustainability initiatives i.e. water saving, energy saving, waste management, etc.
∎ Conduct Health and Safety inspections and prepare reports.
∎ Conduct training and awareness program related to safety, health, and environment.
∎ Conduct HSE Committee meetings, discuss findings and take initiative to resolve findings.
∎ Develop and sustain C-TPAT standards throughout factory activities.
∎ Assist to develop and sustain ACCORD standards.
∎ Maintain compliance-related communication with buyers.
∎ Communicate with merchandising, Production and QA Department in order to coordinate with Buyers visits and take all necessary steps for facing the buyers/ 3rd party/Govt. and compliance visits and audits.
∎ Prepare & ensure Corrective Action Plan (CAP) as per buyers' requirements and Follow up that all corrective action has been taken/follow up regularly as per CAP submitted.
∎ Assist forming HR rules/ policies and implement the same
∎ Conduct manpower planning and forecast in line with business growth.
∎ Lead HR processes and initiatives in areas of talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, rewards and recognition, succession planning, organizational development and change management.
∎ Assist for consistent application and implementation of Company goal and organize employee training according to company policy based on TNA of employee / Mgt.
∎ Motivate employees and bridging employees and management relationship.
∎ Handle employee benefits, wages and payroll administration.
∎ Provide guidelines on performance appraisal and conclude the process including the awarding annual increment process.
∎ Prepare budgets for HR and ensure proper management of the same.
∎ Manage employee's grievances and solve on priority basis.
∎ Must be able to utilize HRIS .
∎ Must have fair knowledge on standard HR practices in a company.
∎ Have thorough knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Code, 2006 as amended in 2015 and able to guide Mgt. in right perspective & Conduct inquiry while necessary.
∎ Must have fair knowledge in compliance and audit related issues.
∎ Capable to managing the full process and polices as per law and different buyers code of conducts.
∎ Follow-up Attendance, Salary Administration, Leave Management & Compensation Benefit & incentive schemes.
∎ Follow-up a sound Performance Management System for all workers, staffs and management personnel.
∎ Follow up employee/labor relation & legal affairs work.
∎ Preparation / Issue office note, memo, office order & circular in respect of HR issues.
∎ Follow-up Appointment processing, Orientation / Induction, exit interview.
∎ Ensure transfer, increment, promotion, separation, and confirmation related work.
∎ Follow up Disciplinary action & conduct departmental enquiry & grievance.
