AWS-CWI/CSWIP-3.1, ASNT NDT Level-II (RT, PT, MT, UT).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
08-10 year experience of QA/QC department of steel structure company.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIRED POSITION:
Lead, monitor and provide technical and operational direction to QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
In-depth knowledge of steel codes and standards (AISC, AWS, MBMA), non-destructive testing (NDT), welding practices, and material traceability documentation (MTRS).
Implement and manage the overall QA/QC system for steel projects, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
Prepare and implement Quality Control Plans (QCPs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and detailed work proce-dures in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Review materials at site and in the Finished Goods Yard to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate with concerned departments on materials and equipment to maintain quality standards.
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Department or Plant Head.
