Responsibilities & Context:
Asst. Manager/ Deputy Manager-Electrical Maintenance (Specialist on PLC Siemens S7 300, 400 series)
- Oversee electrical maintenance on the machines, supervise a team of electricians, and do documentation as required.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, especially PLC, HMI, and AC drive-related faults with root causes identified.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive measures to ensure the smooth functioning of PLC systems, minimizing unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to develop strategies for improving system reliability and performance.
- Analyze PLC programming and configurations to identify errors and make necessary adjustments.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
- Have to maintain safety protocols for both man and machine in the job.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
