Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage the customs clearance process to ensure timely and compliant import and export operations.
∎ Stay updated with customs regulations, tariffs, and trade policies to ensure compliance and minimize customs-related risks.
∎ Coordinate with external customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies for smooth customs clearance and documentation.
∎ Prepare and submit required customs documents, such as import/export declarations, permits, licenses, and certificates.
∎ Ensure accurate classification and valuation of goods for customs purposes.
∎ Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, production, and finance, to facilitate customs-related activities.
∎ Monitor and analyze customs-related costs, including duties, taxes, and customs broker fees, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
∎ Develop and implement customs compliance procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure adherence to customs regulations.
∎ Manage the Uniform Division operations, including production planning, inventory management, and distribution of uniforms to employees.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing, quality control, and timely delivery of uniforms.
∎ Monitor production schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion and delivery of uniforms.
∎ Maintain accurate inventory records and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels.
∎ Supervise a team of staff within the Uniform Division, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
∎ Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for uniforms.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements within the customs and uniform operations.
