Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cooking dishes, ensuring quality, adhering to recipes, and ensuring appealing presentation and correct portioning.

  • Monitoring food levels, unloading supplies, organizing storerooms, identifying items for reorder, and reducing waste.

  • Assisting the Head Chef, rotating stations, expediting orders, and potentially supervising other kitchen staff.

  • Check food freshness and discard expired items.

  • Assist with menu development and new recipe ideas.

  • Manage kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Supervise junior staff & develop operational programs.
