Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibilities:
Cooking dishes, ensuring quality, adhering to recipes, and ensuring appealing presentation and correct portioning.
Monitoring food levels, unloading supplies, organizing storerooms, identifying items for reorder, and reducing waste.
Assisting the Head Chef, rotating stations, expediting orders, and potentially supervising other kitchen staff.
Check food freshness and discard expired items.
Assist with menu development and new recipe ideas.
Manage kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Supervise junior staff & develop operational programs.
