Responsibilities & Context:
ROLE
This position is responsible for supporting the Officer, Procurement and Logistics to procure all District-based (including those in the upazilas and unions) services and goods as needed to to implement project interventions following the Activitiy’s procurement policies and procedures. Procurements may include equipment, materials, printing program materials, short term contracts, venues, office supplies etc. printing as per USAID and FIVDB policy.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
Major Responsibility
Assist and provide support to the Officer Procurement and Logistic on all steps of the procurement process for the district, Upazila and Union as per the HICRA Procurement Manual. This may include:
Maintain procurement tracker and documentation files.
Handle all local tender’s procurement of upazila and union offices under Cox Bazar.
Maintain a complete inventory of physical property/assets, Reconcile records with the upazila offices, monthly. This includes recording equipment distributed to staff. Maintain handover documentation.
Handle lost, stolen or missing inventory procedures as per the manual.
Follow bid/cost estimate requirements as per the HICRA procurement manual. Conduct research on prices and cost estimates.
Maintain procurement filing and document retention.
Respond to requests from union and upazila staff for procurement of goods and services.
Provide assistance to internal and external auditor, consultants, Researchers, Donors and other visitors with information, documents and make necessary coordination.
