∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Graduate in Apparel Merchandising / textiles
∎ Educational requirement may be relaxed for highly experienced personnel in the similar position
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for development and production follow up, order execution and logistic co-ordination
∎ Capability of sourcing ecological and special yarn and fabric.
∎ Must be fast in sample developments with correct colour and trims following up factory and QC.
∎ Monitor order tracking activities to meet market requirements in terms of quality, quantity, specification, delivery etc.
∎ Ensure the merchandising and production process are smooth and information is accurate to all relevant parties
∎ Handle emails with overseas suppliers and buyers independently
∎ Other tasks and projects assigned by the dept. manager
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2 years working experience in a factory and 1 year in a buying office.
∎ Self-motivated, independent, proactive, team player and able to work under pressure
∎ Strong communication, negotiation and organization skills required
∎ Proficient in MS Office application (MS Word, Excel & Outlook)
∎ Good command of English.
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
