Job Context:
∎ The Promotion of Market Linkages in Local Community Project aims to continue to strengthen and localize fresh food supply chain through the development of a unique value-based market system, by linking WFP-contracted retailers to producers in the Cox`s Bazar district. The hereby proposed project intervention aims to:
∎ *Improve dietary diversity amongst the most vulnerable refugee households via direct access to fresh food items including eggs, live fish and chicken.
∎ *Improve market linkages between refugees and host communities.
∎ The overall responsibility for this position is to manage aggregation centers at community level, ensure regular fresh food supply from AC to FFC, including but not limited to - ensure capacity building of ACMC members and producers, prepare weekly products forecast, develop market linkage and facilitate match making role between ACMC members, producers and FFC Retailers to establish efficient and effective fresh food supply chain between ACs to FFCs, monitor markets, conduct assessment, capture good practices, prepare case studies, and share among team members and prepare reports. S/he will maintain FF transaction records both at ACMC and Office level. The AMLO will closely work with the ACMC and FFC retailers by establishing appropriate linkage & networks and fulfill the monthly target fresh food supply to the FFC retails points successfully.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in the process of day to day follow up of fresh foods product mapping activities and regular sharing & update with FFC retailers point-person/manager for day-to-day transaction plan.
∎ Ensure fresh produces supply/transaction as per plan and prepare daily transaction report.
∎ Collect regular basis local markets supply and demand situation and analysis/mapping.
∎ Build capacity to the community mobilizers, ACMC and support producers' groups to work under/with AC.
∎ Orient targeted producer groups and ACs on Farm to Go application and use it properly.
∎ Identify and establish linkages with ACs and producer groups as well as target transaction to FFC.
∎ Visit AC and Producer groups and ensure coaching, mentoring support to increase production and sales; additionally, organize and facilitate monthly meeting.
∎ Assist in strengthening relationship with other partners.
∎ Support for Planning, motoring & budgeting as per project design.
∎ Contribute to reporting to WVB management and donor/s as per requirements.
∎ Capacity building initiative for Community Mobilizer and ACMC.
∎ Assist in Program Implementation for assigned working area.
∎ Assist in the tasks of Capacity Building of Aggregation Center Management Committees (ACMC), Producer group members, and other support staff Members.
∎ Perform the responsibilities of Linkages and Networking with ACMC and FFC.
∎ Performs other duties as may be assigned by the WVB management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation.
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license.
∎ Ability to work in different target groups.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel & MS Power Point
∎ Minimum 5 years proven knowledge/experience in community mobilization, business planning and implementation, facilitation of training/workshop, linkage and networking, livelihoods and market development related projects. 2+ years of work experience with Aggregation Centers/ Collection Centers will be an asset.
∎ Partners support working experience.
∎ People management experience.
∎ Able to create a working environment where team members have equal rights to listen, speak up and contribute to achieve a common goal of the project.
∎ Must live in the project working area and 100% fieldwork is expected. Ready to accept the challenges and cope with the changes.

Salary: Negotiable
