Education:
  • A graduate/master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is required from any recognized university with no third division. MBM/MBA is preferred.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At most 45 years
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze financial data and financial models.

  • Experience in retail, CSME and corporate financing.

  • Experience in credit risk analysis, credit appraisal and credit documentation (including security documentation).

  • In depth knowledge and experience in preparation and formulation of lending policies and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements.

  • In depth understanding of Credit Risk Management Guideline of Bangladesh Bank, Bank Companies Act, Credit Policies and other lending related regulatory directives published by statutory authorities.

  • Experience in credit control policies, procedures and reporting systems (including compliance monitoring).

  • Minimum 05 years of experience in Banking/Financial Institution in credit department.

Technical:

  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools, credit modeling software, MS Office.

Communication:

  • Ability to articulate risks to stakeholders and collaborate with other relevant departments including sales/finance teams.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Manage credit applications and monitor credit portfolio.

  • Participate in risk committee activities.

  • Look after credit compliance issues in line with company and regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain credit risk awareness periodically and guide management as an early alert to potential risk in the client portfolio.

  • Gather qualitative and quantitative information regarding existing and potential customers and update management to set strategies of risk minimization.

  • Prepare credit appraisals and rescheduling/restructuring proposals.

  • Prepare credit documentation and security documentation.

  • Coordinate with sales/marketing/recovery team to meet/gather required information of the prospective client(s) for assessing risk of financing.

  • Stay updated with regulatory guidelines and compliance issues.
