Responsibilities & Context:

• Maintain effective liaison with the Duty Exemption and Drawback Office (DEDO) and other regulatory authorities to ensure the smooth processing of duty drawback claims.

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on duty drawback applications related to export operations in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

• Calculate import duty drawbacks against exports and ensure timely realization of claims from DEDO.

• Maintain and update all VAT registers, including VAT Deduction at Source (VDS), VAT Rebate Registers, Mushak-4.3, and other related compliance documentation.

• Ensure proper record-keeping and preservation of all VAT-related documents as per statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with government authorities to claim and realize Supplementary Duty (SD), where applicable.

• Maintain and preserve all export, DEDO, VAT, and customs-related documents for audit and regulatory purposes.

• Assist in handling and coordinating audits conducted by NBR, VAT Commissionerates, VAT Intelligence, Customs Valuation authorities, and other regulatory bodies.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable VAT, customs, export, and import regulations.

• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management as required.
