Experience:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Business Administration.
Professional qualification/background in CA / ACCA / CMA / Accounting & Finance will be preferred.
Candidates with relevant professional audit and financial control experience may also be considered.
Proven experience in Internal Audit / Financial Audit / Accounts & Finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal control systems.Good knowledge of applicable Income Tax, VAT, AIT, TDS and other statutory requirements.
Ability to identify financial irregularities, fraud risks, control weaknesses and compliance gaps.
Experience in reviewing hospital, diagnostic centre, pharmacy or healthcare-related financial operations will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
Ability to conduct the audit independently within the assigned timeline of working days.
Ability to prepare a comprehensive Internal Audit Report with findings, risk areas and practical recommendations.
Professional qualification such as CA/ACCA/CMA will be preferred.

1. General: The Board/Management of AR-RAHA HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC LTD. intends to assign an Internal Auditor to conduct an Internal Financial Audit prior to the annual statutory audit to evaluate the adequacy of financial management systems, internal controls, statutory compliance, and the accuracy of financial records.
2. Objectives: The Internal Financial Auditor shall be assigned to:
a) Assess the effectiveness of the accounting and financial reporting systems.
b) Review compliance with applicable accounting standards, Companies Act, Income Tax, VAT, Labour laws, and other statutory requirements.
c) Evaluate internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and financial irregularities.
d) Identify weaknesses in financial processes and recommend improvements.
e) Ensure that accounting records are complete and ready for statutory audit.
3. Scope of Work: The Internal Auditor shall review and assess the following key areas:
a) Accounting Records and Financial Reporting: Review the accounting system, books of accounts, and financial records to ensure transactions are properly recorded, supported, and reported in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
b) Revenue and Receipts: Evaluate the processes for patient billing, diagnostic services, pharmacy sales, cash collections, and other income to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely recording of revenue.
c) Cash and Bank Management.: Review cash handling procedures, bank reconciliations, payment authorization processes, and cash controls to ensure proper safeguarding of funds and accurate financial records.
d) Procurement and Expenditure.: Examine purchasing procedure including vendor selection, payment approval, invoice verification, outstanding creditors, and supplier management procedures to ensure expenditures are properly authorized, adequately supported, and comply with established policies.
e) Inventory and Fixed Assets.: Assess controls over medicines, medical supplies, laboratory consumables, and fixed assets, including stock management, asset recording, physical verification, and valuation.
f) Payroll and Human Resource Payments.: Review payroll processing, attendance control, employee benefits, statutory deductions, and salary payments to ensure accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
g) Internal Control System.: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties, approval processes, delegated authority, and safeguarding of company assets.
h) Statutory and Regulatory Compliance.: Review compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including taxation, VAT, AIT, TDS, corporate filings, trade license, and other statutory obligations relevant to the Company's operations.
i) Financial Risk and Control Assessment.: Identify significant financial and operational risks, fraud risks, control weaknesses, or potential irregularities, compliance risks, and recommend practical measures to strengthen governance and minimize risk.
j) Audit Readiness.
Assess the overall preparedness of the Company's financial records and supporting documentation for the annual statutory audit and identify any issues requiring management's attention before the external audit.
