Responsibilities & Context:
  • Plan Raw Materials (RM) & Packaging Materials (PM) based on production needs and market demand.

  • Maintain lead time, economic order quantity (EOQ), and minimum stock levels to ensure uninterrupted supply.

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to maximize savings while ensuring smooth production schedules.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, production, purchase & procurement (P&P) teams, clients, and brand teams to ensure availability of quality RM & PM.

  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance in collaboration with the P&P department.

  • Maintain an updated list of reputed and ethical suppliers for local and foreign procurement.

  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliable service.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, P&P, brand, and sales) to ensure on-time availability of materials.

  • Maintain continuous follow-up with suppliers and internal teams for timely procurement and delivery.

  • Track RM & PM stock levels, finished goods delivered, and undelivered stock.

  • Prepare and submit reports on stock status, procurement activities, and supplier performance as guided by the supervisor.

  • Support sourcing activities for both foreign and local procurement.

  • Stay updated on market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost fluctuations to support procurement decisions.
