Additional Requirements:
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong communication skills.
Candidates with MBA and certification in logistics/supply chain management will be given preference.
Responsibilities & Context:
Plan Raw Materials (RM) & Packaging Materials (PM) based on production needs and market demand.
Maintain lead time, economic order quantity (EOQ), and minimum stock levels to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels to maximize savings while ensuring smooth production schedules.
Coordinate with suppliers, production, purchase & procurement (P&P) teams, clients, and brand teams to ensure availability of quality RM & PM.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance in collaboration with the P&P department.
Maintain an updated list of reputed and ethical suppliers for local and foreign procurement.
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliable service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, P&P, brand, and sales) to ensure on-time availability of materials.
Maintain continuous follow-up with suppliers and internal teams for timely procurement and delivery.
Track RM & PM stock levels, finished goods delivered, and undelivered stock.
Prepare and submit reports on stock status, procurement activities, and supplier performance as guided by the supervisor.
Support sourcing activities for both foreign and local procurement.
Stay updated on market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost fluctuations to support procurement decisions.
