Experience
6 to 8 years for B. Sc. Engineering Degree.
8 to 12 years for Diploma Cum B.Sc. Engineering Degree.
Additional Responsibilities (for Industrial/Factory Environment)
Maintain 33/11 KV Substation, HT/LT panels, 1.5 MW Diesel generator and Online UPS systems.
Monitor load balance and power consumption.
Ensure compliance with factory compliance standards and fire safety regulations.
Support utility management including boilers, compressors, and HVAC electrical systems.
Common Skills Required

Job Responsibilities of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of all electrical equipment and systems.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, motors, transformers, generators, panels, Hydraulic Press, Power Press, CNC Machines, Online UPS and control systems.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting efficiently.
Monitor power distribution systems and ensure uninterrupted electrical supply.
Maintain and repair PLC, inverter, automation, and control systems where applicable.
Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules, reports, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
Strong Leadership to supervise electricians, technicians, and maintenance staff.
Coordinate with production and engineering departments to minimize downtime.
Inspect electrical installations and recommend improvements for efficiency and safety.
Manage spare parts inventory for electrical maintenance activities.
Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
Ensure proper grounding, protection systems, and energy-saving practices.
Respond quickly to emergency maintenance situations.
