Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To manage the entire operation of leased land and contract farmer blocks for seed potato production.
∎ Target-oriented Seed Potato Production through Contract Growers and own Lease Land.
∎ Assist the production manager in preparing seed potato production budget.
∎ Select the lease land and seed potato production block based on land quality, irrigation & drainage facilities.
∎ Providing regular reports on seed potato production to the Supervisor.
∎ Arranged Farmers meeting and complete Agreement with Contract Growers.
∎ Maintain Stock and all Documents regularly.
∎ Supervise distribution of fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides on leased land and among contract farmers properly and timely.
∎ Regular field visits & provided technical support to the contract growers.
∎ Maintain Spray schedule of Fungicide and Insecticide for quality seed potato production.
∎ Ensure proper Field Curing, Shade Curing, Sorting and Grading of Seed Potato.
∎ Ensure Roughing of seed potato field properly.
∎ Ensure Seed Potato Collection and Storage smoothly.
∎ Collect and update all data regularly on farmers and seed potato fields.

∎ Job Summary/ Context: As an Assistant Manager of Seed Production, your role would drive the business's growth and expansion through strategic planning and partnerships. Also, your job will lead to developing strategic partnerships and staying ahead of industry trends to maximize the company's success in the potato market.

∎ Level & Grade: 2, A-C
∎ Reporting To: Business Development Manager- (Seed Potato)
∎ Key Assignments/ Duties:
∎ To manage the entire operation of leased land and contract farmer blocks for seed potato production.
∎ * Key performance Indicator (KPI): Percentage of leased land efficiently utilized. Target-Achieve a utilization rate of 100% or higher.
∎ Target-oriented Seed Potato Production through Contract Growers and own Lease Land.
∎ * Key performance Indicator (KPI): Production Target Achievement: Quantity of seed potato produced. Target: Meet or exceed production targets as set by management.
∎ Assist the production manager in preparing seed potato production budget.
∎ * Key performance Indicator (KPI): Budget Accuracy: Variance between budgeted and actual expenses. Target: Maintain a variance of less than 5%.
∎ Select the lease land and seed potato production block based on land quality, irrigation & drainage facilities.
∎ * Key performance Indicator (KPI): Land Selection Accuracy: Quality of selected lands based on predefined criteria. Target: Ensure 100% of selected lands meet the quality criteria.
∎ Providing regular reports on seed potato production to the Supervisor.
∎ * Key performance Indicator (KPI): Frequency and punctuality of reports submitted. Target: Submit 100% of reports on time, as per schedule.
∎ Arranged Farmers meeting and complete Agreement with Contract Growers.
∎ * Key performance Indicator (KPI): Number of agreements completed with growers. Target: Complete agreements with 100% of targeted contract growers.
∎ Maintain Stock and all Documents regularly.
∎ * Key performance Indicator (KPI): Accuracy and timeliness of document maintenance. Target: Maintain 100% accuracy in stock and document management.
∎ Other Task:
∎ Supervise distribution of fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides on leased land and among contract farmers properly and timely.
∎ Regular field visits & provided technical support to the contract growers.
