• Proven experience leading CAD teams and managing design projects.

• Strong knowledge of CAD software and design processes.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Strong technical expertise in CAD software and design processes.

• Ability to implement workflow improvements and maintain high-quality standards.

This incumbent will be responsible to assist in managing the CAD design team by supporting project coordination, monitoring design standards, aiding resource allocation, training staff, and ensuring workflow efficiency and compliance across the organization.

• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling for the CAD design team.

• Develop, implement, and monitor CAD design standards and procedures to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

• Oversee CAD hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality for the design team.

• Collaborate with the Engineering Lead on technical issues, training, and CAD system-related matters.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and implement best practices within the team.

• Hire, train, and supervise CAD personnel, ensuring proficiency in core applications and adherence to design standards.

• Evaluate team members’ technical skills, performance, and productivity, providing feedback and development plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all design deliverables.

• Foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

• Ensure project documentation and contracts comply with standards established by the Project Delivery Board.
