Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • 5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding sales
  • Strong knowledge of overall freight forwarding and shipping services
  • Proven track record of achieving GP targets
  • Excellent negotiation, business communication and Presentation skills
  • Strong client network in import/export industries (Garments, Pharma, Buying House, etc.)
  • Good command over English (written & spoken)
  • Good knowledge of computer literacy especially MS Office, PowerPoint, Teams etc.

Job Summary:

Responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and expanding the company’s freight forwarding services. Preference given to candidates who have experience in Air & ocean freight customer service and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand Air & Sea Freight businesses
  • Identify and pursue new customers for Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Logistics services
  • Achieving assigned sales targets and contributing to overall business growth
  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
  • Handling air businesses from start to end. (rate filling, space, invoicing etc.)
  • Strong relationship with airlines regarding rate, space / stock AWB.
  • Checking documents properly, sending pre-alerts to customers.
  • Prepare and execute necessary documents (AWB, Manifests, Invoices, EDI etc.)
  • Develop and Liaison with overseas partners for rate negotiations, booking, shipment approval etc.
  • Maintain exceptional customer relationship management
  • Follow up and monitoring regular credit realization in timely manner
  • Monitor competitors and market trends in the freight forwarding industry
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development
  • Properly submit IGM/EGM and handling discrepancies/error, shipping information mismatch, cargo missing etc.
