Education:

• Masters degree in any discipline
• Bachelor degree in any discipline

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputed university.

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering will be given preference.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience in a similar role within a large knit garments manufacturing industry.

• Energetic, dynamic, and proactive leader with strong people management and team-motivation skills.

• Sound knowledge of compliance, quality control, work study, and production efficiency.

• Ability to work effectively with senior management as well as cross-functional factory teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Review and understand order details including approval samples, production plans, and shipment schedules, and communicate requirements clearly to the production team.

• Prepare, analyze, and submit daily production reports to senior management.

• Ensure achievement of assigned production targets within stipulated timelines.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve production-related issues to minimize delays and improve efficiency.

• Monitor availability of inputs and materials in line with shipment requirements.

• Ensure garment production is completed accurately and on time as per shipment schedules.

• Supervise workforce activities with a focus on health, safety, and proper handling of goods.

• Implement, monitor, and sustain 5S practices on the production floor.

• Prepare and execute monthly production plans to support operational goals.

• Arrange and manage required manpower to ensure uninterrupted production flow.

• Attend MOD review meetings and support management decisions and action plans.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Department Head from time to time.
