Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in maintenance of heavy industry, with at least 3 years experience in Cylinder Manufacturing maintenance.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for all plant equipment and utilities. Establish maintenance schedules aligned with production plans to minimize downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure high availability of critical machinery. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement long-term solutions.
Control maintenance budgets by optimizing spare parts inventory, labor utilization, and service contracts. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or performance.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local regulations, safety standards (e.g., PESO, ISO, OSHA), and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation. Generate regular reports on maintenance KPIs, downtime analysis, and improvement actions.
Assist maintenance-related projects such as equipment upgrades, overhauls, and new installations. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely and quality execution of maintenance work.
Monitor and optimize the performance of utilities such as compressors, generators, boilers, and air systems. Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability goals.
Work closely with the production team to ensure equipment readiness and quick resolution of breakdowns. Provide technical support during production planning and process improvements.
