Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a senior role within core network support.
∎ Must have active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
∎ Proven expertise in managing VMware vCloud Director and virtualization platforms will be given preference.
∎ Strong background in designing, analyzing, and implementing DNS, DHCP, WINS, NAT, TCP/IP routing, and LAN/WAN infrastructures.
∎ Candidates with experience in SI / vendor industry are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Set up and manage Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) to protect the factory network from external threats by configuring and maintaining Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Sophos firewalls.
∎ Configure load balancers, NAT policies, and DMZ applications to ensure secure and efficient access to applications by defining traffic rules and isolating public-facing services.
∎ Manage IP routing and wireless connectivity to maintain stable communication across the factory network by implementing BGP, OSPF, EIGRP protocols, and configuring Cisco wireless devices.
∎ Control bandwidth allocation to prioritize business-critical services by developing and applying traffic management scripts in Sophos and Fortinet firewalls.
∎ Configure and manage GRE tunneling to securely route traffic between different Layer-3 networks by establishing GRE tunnels across remote routers.
∎ Construct and maintain VPNs to support secure communication between remote users and factory sites by configuring IPsec, GRE, IP-IP, EoIP, PPTP, and L2TP connections.
∎ Implement and enforce network security protocols to safeguard data and prevent unauthorized access by applying SSL, SSL VPN, ACL, VLAN, VTP, STP, and NAT policies.
∎ Oversee and configure SIP protocols to ensure seamless voice communication within the factory by managing Cisco IP telephony systems.
∎ Provision and manage virtual servers to support scalable IT operations by creating and administering virtual instances using VMware vCloud Director.
∎ Configure firewall rules and access policies to secure virtual environments by defining group policies and access control within VM/NSX systems.
∎ Customize bandwidth settings to meet specific departmental needs by applying differentiated traffic policies aligned with business demands.
∎ Analyze and design scalable, high-performance network solutions to support future business growth by assessing load capacity and deploying optimized architecture.
∎ Monitor and analyze Syslog and event data to detect network anomalies or potential threats by using log management tools and pattern analysis.
∎ Identify and resolve network faults and security vulnerabilities to ensure uninterrupted operations by conducting diagnostics, applying patches, and reconfiguring affected systems.

As part of this expansion, we are looking for a dynamic, technically skilled, and result-oriented professional to join our Core Network Support Team as Assistant Manager – IT (Core Network Support) at our Factory Complex. This position requires in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in network infrastructure, firewall and VPN configuration, IP routing, virtual server management, and network security protocols. The role is critical to supporting factory-wide digital connectivity, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth operations across all units. The incumbent will report to the line head and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions aligned with MGI’s business objectives and security standards.
