• Six months Fire Safety Manager Courser from Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense is mandatory.

• At least 5 years

• Communication skills in both English and Bengali in verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Be able to cope with pressure, flexible, and adaptable.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager - Fire Safety Officer in HR, Admin & Compliance department for the Garments Factory.

Job location will be Jamgora, Ashulia, Savar.

• Ensure fire & safety requirements for the workplace areas as per Standards & Guidelines.

• Assist the chief engineer in the day-to-day work and oversee the preventive maintenance of all equipment.

• Identifies probable fire hazard areas and takes preventive measures on an urgent basis.

• Checking Fire equipment such as Smoke detectors, fire hydrant, fire doors, firefighting apparatus, etc. regularly.

• Must be knowledgeable on the installation of Panel Board System Fire Alarm, Smoke Detector as well as Complete Fire Hydrant System.

• Check all log books daily and take corrective measures accordingly.

• Coordinate with outside agencies or vendors for repair and maintenance work.

• Obtain a thorough knowledge of firefighting & fire safety appliances.

• Take regular training classes for engineers, staff & workers.

• Assume all the responsibilities and authority of the chief engineer in his absence.

• Timely implementation of safety recommendations from the recent audit to maintain a secure working environment in the textile and garments industry.

• Schedule mandatory compliance training sessions to keep employees updated on industry-specific regulations & standards.

• Conduct regular fire drills and emergency evacuation drills to aware employees of any emergency incidents.

• Prepare reports regularly on Fire, Safety & Security to the top management.

• Any other tasks as assigned by the Management.
