Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields from a reputed university.
∎ Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CPA are highly preferred.
∎ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
∎ Experience in financial management within large-scale Engineering companies is preferred.
∎ Experience in leading teams to responds to Tax Audits is preferred
∎ Solid understanding of Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS/BFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
∎ Excellent in tax planning, Familiar with Bangladesh tax regulations (NBR requirements), VAT, Financial Act, Income Tax Act and applicable tax rates.
∎ Experience with VAT and income tax returns, ensuring the company’s compliance with laws and regulations.
∎ Proficient in using financial software, such as Tally systems, including voucher entry, account reconciliation.
∎ Familiar with the company registration process, import and export tax laws and policies.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively liaise with tax authorities, banks, and other companies.
∎ High level of integrity, strong professional ethics, and risk awareness.
∎ Education:
