∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Designing

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5–8 years of professional experience in knitwear fashion design (Knit Garments).
∎ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CorelDRAW, and 3D design tools like CLO 3D or similar.
∎ Strong sketching ability, visual storytelling, and understanding of garment construction.
∎ Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends, color theories, print techniques, and knit fabric behavior.
∎ Excellent communication, time management, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and develop fashion-forward knitwear collections in alignment with market trends and seasonal forecasts.
∎ Create detailed 2D/3D sketches, tech packs, and mood boards for internal and client presentations.
∎ Demonstrate strong understanding of fabric construction, print techniques, and garment finishing specific to knits.
∎ Oversee the entire sample development process – from concept to final product – in collaboration with sampling, merchandising, and production teams.
∎ Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to inspire design innovation and meet client expectations.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of all design components, maintaining high standards of creativity, quality, and accuracy.
∎ Liaise with internal departments and buyers to incorporate feedback and finalize collections.
∎ Assist in developing design strategies and seasonal lines as per brand identity and business goals.
∎ Undertake additional design-related responsibilities as directed by the management.
