Responsibilities & Context:
Assist mechanical and electrical engineers in troubleshooting and repairing transport fleet equipment.
Monitor, Supervise and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks and heavy vehicles.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and support teams to ensure timely maintenance and service delivery.
Maintain proper records of maintenance schedules, parts, usage, vehicle performance and breakdown logs.
Track and manage workshop expenses including fuel, parts and labor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all workshop tools, equipment and machines are in working condition and properly calibrated.
Ensure that safety procedures and standards are maintained in the workshop.
Liaise with supplier and vendors for spare parts procurement and maintenance services.
prepare reports on maintenance, downtime and budget utilization for management review.
Support compliance with regulatory requirements related to transport and workshop operations
