Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in deciding and optimizing the overall supply chain (logistics and distribution) network.
Support in awarding business to competitive service providers for all distribution points under supervision.
Evaluate logistics and distribution value enhancement projects (3PL & 4PL).
Ensure projects are implemented on time to deliver expected benefits aligned with business development plans.
Support in the selection and development of carriers (3rd party and company-owned) for efficient and safe transportation.
Build and maintain relationships with transport providers and agencies to ensure safe and timely delivery of consignments.
Ensure effective controls and procedures for accurate stock deployment across the value chain.
Optimize distribution cost, maintain product freshness index, and achieve desired customer service levels.
Assist in analyzing logistical issues and developing new solutions for distributor and depot operations.
Work in coordination with other supply chain units to ensure effective delivery management and maintain competitive advantage.
Liaise with production teams to confirm stock availability and take corrective actions during stock shortages.
Align all dispatch programs with real-time stock availability.
Coordinate with concerned departments to gather information about delivery programs.
Prepare delivery plans in SAP and generate SKU-wise reports using relevant SAP modules.
