Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assist in deciding and optimizing the overall supply chain (logistics and distribution) network.

  • Support in awarding business to competitive service providers for all distribution points under supervision.

  • Evaluate logistics and distribution value enhancement projects (3PL & 4PL).

  • Ensure projects are implemented on time to deliver expected benefits aligned with business development plans.

  • Support in the selection and development of carriers (3rd party and company-owned) for efficient and safe transportation.

  • Build and maintain relationships with transport providers and agencies to ensure safe and timely delivery of consignments.

  • Ensure effective controls and procedures for accurate stock deployment across the value chain.

  • Optimize distribution cost, maintain product freshness index, and achieve desired customer service levels.

  • Assist in analyzing logistical issues and developing new solutions for distributor and depot operations.

  • Work in coordination with other supply chain units to ensure effective delivery management and maintain competitive advantage.

  • Liaise with production teams to confirm stock availability and take corrective actions during stock shortages.

  • Align all dispatch programs with real-time stock availability.

  • Coordinate with concerned departments to gather information about delivery programs.

  • Prepare delivery plans in SAP and generate SKU-wise reports using relevant SAP modules.
