∎ Ideal candidate should have a master’s degree preferably in Business/Commerce. Educational qualification can be relaxed for deserving candidates.

∎ 7 to 10 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ The position will be assigned a major Trade-lane as lead role which be responsible for achieving annual budget, sales target. The individual will be responsible wholly for the designated trade-lane while he/she will be covering the full activity as a salesperson.
∎ Develop and monitor customer support to ensure that services are provided at the appropriate level, as well as works with senior management to develop the appropriate policies and procedures to ensure high quality & professional service is rendered.
∎ A highly reputed leading Multinational Shipping Company is looking for a dynamic & self-motivated individual who can work under pressure in Sales and Marketing (Export) department for the location Dhaka or Chattogram in a state-of-art technology environment.
∎ Position: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager (depends on experience and competencies)
∎ Salary: As per company policy (negotiable for really deserving candidate)

∎ Working Hours: As per company policy. The position demands extensive works which may lead to work long-hours.
∎ Location: Dhaka. However, the candidate may be posted/transferred anywhere within the country or outside the country.
∎ Skill development: On-job training, seminar, conference, meetings (physical/on-line) may be arranged regular basis at home country or away.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Achieving individual budget (volume, revenue).
∎ Playing lead role for a trade-lane independently.
∎ Business developments overall and the assigned trade-lane.
∎ Planning and budgeting for the assigned business area.
∎ Management reporting.
∎ In person sales meeting with customers and maintaining PR and bridge between the companies.
∎ Follow up with destination sales and trade manager(s) for business development.
∎ Handling Service Contracts, rate filing, and system input etc.
∎ Making periodical business forecast and follow up for materialization.
∎ Initiate Sales Lead and follow up for developing new/potential business.
∎ Update in system Sales visit plan and Sales call report regularly.
∎ Follow up with customers (assigned) for booking, performance and any issue for flawless service and smooth operation.
∎ Rate quotation, Sales offerings, service update to local customers.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: Candidate should have proven track-record of 07-10 years of working experience in related field (main-line shipping, multi-national Forwarding, NVOCC or similar), majority of which is in Sales & Marketing or Trade management.
∎ General Skill: In-depth understanding and hands-on work knowledge of container shipping business. Candidate should be proficient in English, should pose sound knowledge on MS Office, be able to use various customized software, apps, on-line based contents.
∎ Competencies: The individual should play vital role in a team while must have tenacity to lead. Result oriented for achieving target, innovative to new ideas, adaptability to changing environment, quick to learn are other qualities.
