Additional Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assist in developing internal Audit plan, policies, programs & SOP in consultation with the department head and ensure implementation across the group accordingly to confirm proper compliance.

  • Identify & classify different types of risk such as operational, financial & systematic risks and plan the risk mitigation activities.

  • Plan and conduct audits to assess internal control in operation, analyze existing rules, and recommend in specific organization systems.

  • Perform Pre-Audit & Post-Audit of all kinds of payments to ensure compliance with existing policies.

  • Verify all transactions properly and ensure that transactions are made in accordance with the organization's internal operating procedures or policy.

  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality whenever investigations are conducted to ensure fairness & transparency.

  • Ensure that audit reports are prepared with necessary observations and recommendations based on findings.

  • Conduct inventory audits on regular intervals to ensure the accuracy of stock.

  • Check & verify different types of export and import documents such as PI (Pro-forma Invoice), LC (Letter of Credit), BL (Bill of Lading), BE (Bill of Entry) etc.

  • Ensure the accuracy of all expense calculations such as survey office rent, vessel handling expenses, lighter permission expenses, crew repatriation expenses etc
