10–12 years of hands-on experience in Batching operations within a Knit Dyeing Factory

Minimum 5 years in a senior role, such as Head of Batch Section or equivalent

• Receive daily production orders and fabric details from the Planning and Merchandising departments.
• Plan and create optimal fabric batches by consolidating orders based on machine capacity, fabric type, color category, and delivery schedule.
• Prepare batches for specific dyeing machines to maximize machine utilization and minimize changeover and idle time.
• Accurately enter and maintain batch data in ERP systems, including order reference, fabric quantity, construction, GSM, machine allocation, recipe reference, process route, and planned start/end times.
• Generate and monitor daily and weekly batching plans, machine loading reports, and fabric inventory status reports.
• Coordinate closely with the Greige Fabric Store to ensure timely availability and issue of required fabric according to the batching plan.
• Liaise with the Planning Department to provide regular updates on production status and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
• Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical fabric inventory with ERP records, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in batching efficiency, fabric utilization, and production flow.
