∎ Strong Microsoft office skills, especially excel

∎ Eastport Limited, 100% Export Oriented Garments Industry based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of an Assistant Manager – Accounts. Eastport Limited is a manufacturing unit of PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear.
∎ Eastport is looking to hire an Assistant Manager - Accounts to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more experience in related field.
∎ JOB LOCATION: Cumilla EPZ
∎ JOB NATURE: Permanent
∎ Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
∎ Compute VAT & taxes owed and prepare VAT & tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other VAT & tax requirements.
∎ Coordinating internal and external audits.
∎ Presentation of various monthly financial reports to head of finance, head office at Ireland.
∎ Coordinate and liaise with co-staff to support in recording, maintaining and managing day-to-day financial transactions of the company.
∎ Maintain Company’s Provident fund account and audit related task
∎ Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
