Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager / Senior Manager for the Maintenance department in the Sweater Washing Plant.
∎ Job location will be Gacha, Chayadana, Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop plans and procedures to provide effective Sweater Washing Plant maintenance and utility-related support to the required areas.
∎ Manage, monitor, and supervise all electro-mechanical maintenance work in the Sweater Washing Plant.
∎ Monitor the required maintenance schedule of electrical / mechanical equipment in the plant.
∎ Led a maintenance team to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all electrical/mechanical appliances/machines of the factory.
∎ Monitoring the activities of team members and providing necessary guidelines for performing the maintenance jobs effectively.
∎ Maintenance of Boiler, Chiller, Compressor, Generator, and all types of electrical / mechanical equipment.
∎ Monitoring fuel system, steam system, compressed air system, closed cooling water system (LT&HT), and other areas of the plant to minimize consumption.
∎ Identify problems with plant equipment and convey them to the maintenance team to solve the problem.
∎ Comply with all procedures and standards of operation and maintenance.
∎ Monitor and record process parameters and take proactive maintenance plans accordingly.
∎ Prepare daily and weekly reports and submit them to the management.
∎ Identifying areas for improvement and assigning team members to take care of issues.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience including 03 years of experience in managerial position in the area of Sweater Washing Plant Maintenance.
∎ Leadership and team management.
∎ Strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills.
∎ Communication skills in both English and Bengali in verbal and written.
∎ Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
∎ Be able to cope with pressure, flexible and adaptable.
∎ Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive.
∎ Well conversant with IT equipment.
