Experience:
3 years working experience on WASH-related program.
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s) Knowledge of WASH and public health and experience in practically applying this knowledge.
Team building capacity.
Excellent communication with development sector.
Experience in working with government departments.
Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities.
Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have sound knowledge on online platform Zoom and Microsoft teams, KOBO and WhatsApp, Auto Cad etc.
Ability to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license.
Name of Project: Increasing Access to Improved WASH Services in Bangladesh
Contract period: 01.06.2024 to 30.12.2024 - High Possibility of extension.
Proposed start date: 1st of June 2024
Location: Paikgachha, Koyra and Morrelganj Uapzila
Responsibilities:
S/he will be providing technical support to the Contractor/workers in an effective manner.
Will be provide support for baseline survey during design, data collection and report preparation.
S/he will be ensure project related hardware activities are done as per design, drawing and BOQ and as per stated standard and quality.
Selecting hardware sites through final cross checking.
Should be ensure hardware site selection through the finalize by cross checking.
Support in procurement of materials.
To organize training, orientation for staff and members for effective hardware implementation.
Must have skills in planning, implementation and budgeting.
All project activities must be conducted to achieve project goals and objectives.
Must have monitor delivery of sanitation materials/tools/equipment by WASH committees to households to ensure equity and accountability and liaise with the WASH camp store keeper to ensure that an up to date stock inventory is kept.
Attend monthly project progress review meeting.
S/he should regularly monitor project activities as per objectives and assist in the field.
S/he should prepare monthly, half-yearly and final reports on project progress and submit to line focal for review and finalization.
Must have experience in establishing and maintaining linkages with concerned government departments and local government institutions for implementation of project activities.
Must have good Knowledge about Water quality test.
Must have experience communicating with project project teams.
