Educational Requirements:
∎ Tertiary education in production management, garments manufacturing, or other related field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and direct activities of sewing fabric to meet daily production plan;
∎ Inspect processed parts to verify dimensions, colour, quantity and style against work order sample;
∎ Verify setup and adjustment of sewing machines;
∎ Review work orders to determine staffing requirements;
∎ Monitor man, machine, and material for smooth sewing operation;
∎ Inspect products throughout processing stages to maintain specified standards;
∎ Train workers in operation of machines and equipment;
∎ Report on productivity, materials used and inventory;
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs and their career development plans;
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero NC;
∎ Comply with clean desk policy in place to increase productivity and stay organized;
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site;
∎ Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Experience working in a Denim Manufacturer unit/Buying house/Clothing/Fashion Brand;
∎ Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing and speaking);
∎ Team player with proactive interpersonal skills;
∎ Ability to work hard and control pressure;
∎ Open minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill sets;
∎ Result-oriented and a strong desire of success;
∎ Self-starter & proactive;
∎ Good interpersonal skill.
