Experience:
Accounting & Financial Management
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Ensure cost control and financial planning for the organization.
* Assist in developing financial forecasts and budgets.
Taxation & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with income tax, VAT, and other relevant tax regulations.
* Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT reports, and financial statements on time.
* Stay updated on tax policies, deductions, exemptions, and compliance requirements.
* Provide tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings.
* Ensure timely audit preparation and tax filing to avoid penalties.
Auditing & Internal Control
* Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
* Implement internal financial controls to minimize risks.
* Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
* Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
Payroll & Bookkeeping
* Oversee salary disbursement, provident fund contributions, and payroll tax deductions.
* Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and salary structures.
* Manage ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
Accounting Systems & Process Improvement
* Implement modern accounting systems and digital financial tools.
* Identify areas for process automation and efficiency improvements.
* Ensure proper documentation and secure record-keeping of financial data.
Business Strategy & Advisory
* Provide insights on financial risks, cash flow, and cost-saving strategies.
* Collaborate with senior management to develop financial policies.
* Assist in business planning and investment decision-making.
* Guide and train junior accounting staff as needed.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and spreadsheets.
* Familiarity with Bangladesh’s tax laws, VAT system, and financial regulations.
Soft Skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
