Professional Competence

  • Proficient in local tax laws and have the basic knowledge of international tax practices and OECD transfer pricing guidelines;

  • Skilled in using Excel tools and able to quickly learn to operate various IT systems.

  • Business graduation & CA qualified is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • More than 5 years of tax experience, with preference given to those with cross-border tax management experience.

Other Requirements

  • Reliable and dependable in work with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative, meticulous and detail-oriented, and possessing good execution skills.

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities, capable of interfacing with external tax authorities, internal business departments, and group regional/headquarters teams.

  • Strong logical analysis skills, adept at risk identification and strategy formulation.

  • Fluent in English, able to work and communicate in English without any barriers.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance Management

  • Responsible for completing tax compliance tasks, which mainly include:

  • Tax Rule Management: Establish an effective tax rule control mechanism, promptly identify changes in external tax laws, and collaborate with Chinese tax manager to implement response plans before the rules take effect.

  • Tax Calculation and Filing: Complete routine tax calculation and filing for all types of taxes according to external regulatory requirements.

  • Tax Asset Management: Conduct quarterly assessments of tax asset composition, formulate reasonable asset utilization plans, and optimize the efficiency of tax asset usage.

  • Business Review: Provide professional tax review opinions for new business scenarios of the company, mainly regarding tax treatments and potential tax risks, to support business decision-making.

  • Intercompany Transactions Management: Adapt group standardized Intercompany Transactions solutions based on local tax laws and practices, and review intercompany agreements signing.

Tax Policy Engagement and Tax Audit Defense

  • Tax Policy Engagement: Responsible for expanding and maintaining relationships with officers at different levels of the tax authority.

  • Tax Audit Defense: Respond to various inquiries and audits initiated by the tax authorities, communicate, and provide documents and business explanations that meet procedural requirements to establish a good corporate compliance image to the tax authorities, and manage tax inquiries and audits effectively.

  • Tax Certainty Management: Obtain and manage tax certainty, such as rulings, DTAs, and tax exemption qualifications. Strengthen tax compliance to support business operations.
