Job Summary:
The Assessor Clinical (Training & Development) plays a key role in ensuring that clinical training at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital is effective, evidence-based, and aligned with high standards of patient care. The role is anchored in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) principles, with a strong focus on systematically collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assess training quality, clinical performance, and service outcomes, and to drive continuous improvement in clinical competence and patient safety.
Job Description:
Focus on systematically observing clinical practices, evaluating training outcomes, and supporting continuous improvement in clinical competence and service delivery across the hospital.
Use structured tools and methodologies to collect data on clinical training activities, staff performance, and patient care practices, ensuring that information is reliable and comparable over time. The role applies MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) approaches to track performance, generate meaningful insights, and promote a culture of accountability and learning within the Training Institute.
Conduct real-time monitoring in clinical areas to observe how training is translated into practice, documenting strengths, gaps, and trends that influence the quality of care. Training modules, content, and outcomes are regularly reviewed and analyzed, with the Assessor Clinical providing clear, evidence-based recommendations to improve training design, delivery, and follow-up.
Measure training outcomes and organizational impact using defined parameters, ensuring that every learning intervention contributes to the broader BSH Master Plan and institutional quality benchmarks. The Assessor Clinical works closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical departments, trainers, and administrative staff, to support quality initiatives and align assessment findings with operational priorities.
Help ensure accountability of trainers by using communication and digital tools to share feedback, track action points, and document progress. When required, the Assessor Clinical supports training facilitation and contributes to the development or refinement of training modules, helping to keep content clinically relevant, up to date, and responsive to identified needs.
