About the Role
Abdul Kadir Molla International School (AKMIS) is seeking a passionate and creative Art & Design Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons under both the IB and Cambridge curricula, inspiring students to explore their artistic talents and develop design-thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Art & Design lessons in alignment with IB and Cambridge curriculum standards.
Foster creativity, critical thinking, and visual literacy through various art forms and mediums.
Guide students in developing their portfolios for assessment and exhibitions.
Organize and coordinate art events, displays, and exhibitions within the school.
Incorporate digital tools and contemporary art practices into lessons.
Assess student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art projects into interdisciplinary learning.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
