Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques specific to General Trade.
Deep knowledge of local markets, retailer networks, and distribution channels.
Proven leadership to manage and motivate sales teams, ensuring targets are met.
Strong verbal and written communication to liaise with stakeholders, from retailers to management.
Ability to negotiate with retailers and distributors to maximize sales.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in the assigned area.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Identify and recruit potential dealers and sales officers to expand the sales network.
- Analyze market data to develop insights and actionable strategies.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion and development.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive network among dealers and sales officers.
- Track sales metrics and KPIs to measure performance against targets.
- Manage the sales budget for the area, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable about products, sales techniques, and market trends.
