Job Context:
∎ The Asia Arsenic Network (AAN) an international NGO is seeking candidates for following positions to be stationed in Jhenaidah District, to conduct a project on "Promotion of Water Management and Climate Change Adaptation in Agriculture in Jhenaidah District" shortly call SAP-2 project financed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Japan for the period of February 2021 to January 2024.
∎ Area Manager (AM)- (to be stationed in Jhenaidah district with frequent field visit)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10-year experience on agriculture related project, among them 3-year coordination experience with government, LGI level and private companies.
∎ Good reporting and communication skills in Bengali and English.
∎ Good management skill on personnel and accounting system.
∎ Skill to organize workshops, trainings, various types of survey conduct and case study writing.
∎ Able to develop different types of IEC and awareness tools, training materials and survey questionnaires.
∎ Sound knowledge on water management in agriculture, climate change adaptation, seed preservation, vermin-compost production, soil nutrient, pest control and safe food production.
∎ Good computer knowledge (especially MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Google drive, Facebook, Zoom, etc.)
∎ Good knowledge (and 1-year experience) in construction management.
∎ Able to ride a motorcycle with a valid driving license.
