Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Jobarpar, Barishal
∎ REPORTS TO: Director (SHALOM)
∎ POSITION SUMMARY: The Area Coordinator will be responsible for effectively managing the local human resource, field office and projects operation to delivering a high-quality results-oriented program. Position is contingent upon receipt of donor funding.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ He/She will prepare Work Plan, project implementation plan (PIP) and provide technical and management support to the project implementation team members;
∎ Managing the day to day area office administration;
∎ Review/ check incoming invoices and authorize payments;
∎ Regular monitoring and follow-up of services by the survivors and community groups;
∎ Evaluate job performance of respective staffs who are directly reported;
∎ Attend seminar, workshop, training, meeting etc.
∎ Oversee the systematic maintenance of files, confidential documents, database, accounts and financial documents;
∎ Organised and/or participate actively in regular team meetings;
∎ Liaise with GO, NGO and other stakeholders at local level;
∎ Prepared different types of report as when required;
∎ Any other relevant assignments deemed necessary for SHALOM
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years' working experience in relevant field and equivalent position in NGOs;
∎ Experience managing grants from multiple donors;
∎ Good knowledge on basic M&E, and mastery of processing and statistical analysis;
∎ Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Power point;
∎ A pro active self-starter with proven leadership skills;
∎ Skill in written and spoken English;
