Job Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise architectural and renovation projects within the hospital premises.

• Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and design concepts in compliance with healthcare facility standards.

• Ensure designs meet safety, accessibility, fire protection, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC engineers for integrated project execution.

• Supervise construction, renovation, and maintenance works.

• Review contractor drawings, BOQ, and project schedules.

• Ensure efficient space utilization for clinical and administrative areas.

• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

• Maintain project documentation and submit progress reports to management.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and national building codes.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.

• Registration with the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) will be an added advantage.

 Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in architectural design and project supervision.

• Experience in hospital, healthcare, or large commercial projects will be highly preferred.

 Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, or similar design software.

• Knowledge of hospital planning standards, building codes, and fire safety regulations.

• Experience in BOQ preparation and project cost estimation.

 Other Skills & Competencies

• Strong project management and coordination skills.

• Good communication and reporting ability in English and Bangla.

• Problem-solving and decision-making capability.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
