Job Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and manage civil construction, renovation, and maintenance works within hospital premises.

• Prepare drawings, estimates, BOQ, and project schedules.

• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards and building regulations.

• Monitor project progress and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure proper execution of civil works.

• Manage repair and maintenance of buildings, roads, drainage, and utilities.

• Verify bills, measurements, and contractor payments.

• Maintain project documentation and prepare progress reports.

• Ensure cost-effective utilization of materials and resources.

• Follow hospital policies and national building codes.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Membership with the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in construction and maintenance projects.

• Experience in hospital, healthcare, or large commercial building projects will be preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 2D, 3D and MS Office applications.

• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and project planning.

• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Other Skills & Competencies

• Strong project management and supervision skills.

• Good communication skills in English and Bangla.

• Problem-solving and analytical ability.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
