Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT or related subject from any reputed University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance for Policy Administration System.
∎ Install, diagnose and troubleshoot Application Software related issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of the System.
∎ The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone or by e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.
∎ Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or emails regarding software related problems.
∎ Create Reports in Oracle Report Development Environment as per requirements.
∎ Perform functional enhancement in software modules currently available in the Policy Admin System.
∎ Design & develop new modules in the Policy Admin System for both Desktop & Web based Platform.
∎ Develop, document and train on Application Software installation and troubleshooting procedures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 32 years
∎ Experience in Life Insurance Industry will be preferable.
∎ Excellent understanding on Software Design & Development.
∎ In-Depth knowledge of Relational Database Systems.
∎ Ability to write complex queries for managing business data.
∎ Hands on experience in designing reports using reporting tools such as Oracle Report Builder.
∎ Expert level technical knowledge on Oracle Forms Developer and Oracle Apex.
∎ Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware.
∎ Ability to identify, debug and resolve program logic & design related error.
∎ Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
∎ Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
∎ Strong customer-service orientation.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Probation period: 12 (Twelve) months.
∎ Attractive remuneration will be given during the probation period.
∎ After successful completion of the probation period the incumbent will be confirmed in the regular position and pay scale of the Company.
∎ Other fringe benefits like contributory provident fund, gratuity, group and health insurance, festival and incentive bonus are available after confirmation.
