Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Excel, including M-Code, Power Query, and Pivot Tables.
Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, dashboard creation, and data modeling.
Proficiency in statistical methods and data analytics techniques such as Market Basket Analysis, Clustering, PCA, Regression, and Classification.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for statistical analysis.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Context:
Excel Expertise:
Utilise M-Code and Power Query to manipulate and transform data for various reports.
Design and implement PivotTables to summarise complex data, enabling actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Power BI Development:
Develop interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and visualisations to represent key business metrics and KPIs.
Write and optimise DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries for complex calculations and dynamic reporting.
Design and maintain data models to ensure clean, efficient, and scalable datasets for reporting and analysis.
Data Management:
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.
Automate data extraction through API, reporting tasks, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaboration & Communication:
Present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways.
Work closely with business units to understand their reporting requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
