About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Airport Ground Services Supervisor to oversee our daily ground handling operations. In this role, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely turnaround of aircraft while leading a team dedicated to operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all ground handling activities, including passenger services, baggage handling, ramp operations, and aircraft servicing.
Closely monitor aircraft turnaround performance to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.
Allocate GHA manpower and resources effectively to meet operational requirements.
Ensure compliance with airline procedures, airport regulations, and safety standards.
Coordinate with GHA, airport authorities, security agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Investigate operational incidents, delays, and irregularities, and prepare reports as required.
Ensure proper handling of baggage and special service requests.
Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
Respond promptly to emergencies and operational disruptions.
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in airport ground handling or airline operations.
Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Sound knowledge of IATA standards, airport safety regulations, and ground handling procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and irregular hours.
