Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidates will be responsible for collecting data from the field for the development of crop insurance products.
∎ Monitor day-to-day project operations and its planned activities.
∎ Collaborate closely with the respective staff of partner organizations, farmers, local government, and other stakeholders.
∎ Work closely with meteorologists to develop solutions.
∎ Monitor weather data to track the progress of weather index insurance and maintain automated weather stations (AWS) and river water level gauges.
∎ Regularly prepare project documents.
∎ Candidates should possess the determination to achieve project-oriented milestones.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Experience and proficiency in facilitating and interacting with partner staff, farmers' groups, and climate change adaptation aspects for various crops.
∎ Proficient in collecting field data and preparing project documents.
∎ Basic computer skills in MS Office, MS Excel, and email communication.
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, meet targets and deadlines.
∎ Capability and willingness to operate a motorcycle and possess a valid driving license.
