Experience:

• At least 3 years

• Diploma in Agriculture
• Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
• Bachelor degree in any discipline
• Preferred Professional Certification: Diploma in Agriculture,climate
• Training/Trade Course:

• At least 3 years

• Age 30 to 50 years

• In-depth knowledge of agricultural practices, crop production, and livestock management in Bangladesh.
• Strong understanding of climate change dynamics, impacts, and adaptation strategies in the context of agriculture.
• Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture approaches and practices.
• Experience in capacity building, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
• Commitment to ADRA's mission, beliefs and core values
• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Computer knowledge (M/S Office).
• Able to work in a team
• Motor Bike driving skills with a valid driving license.
• Able to undertake travel as required
• Good report-writing skills in both English and Bengali

• Contractual and project-based job.

• There will be probation period of 3 months upon joining.
  Design and deliver capacity building training and capacity-building initiatives for farmers, extension workers, and agricultural professionals on climate change adaptation and mitigation in agriculture.

• Provide technical assistance and guidance to ensure the effective implementation of climate-smart agriculture.

• Manage all technical aspects of agriculture climate component that includes different activities to accelerate the adoption of climate adaptation and risk management practices by adolescents and farmers and CBO members to foster sustainable agriculture production, expand commercialization, and advance marketable innovations and research for climate change in agriculture.

• Organize group and improve the capacity of adolescents, farmers, and cooperatives to adapt to climate change. Increase adolescents` and farmers` awareness of green agriculture.

• Implement demonstration plot with new and advanced technologies Promoting and facilitating the development and management of farmers` markets system Advise on mechanisms to improve access to new technology for agriculture producers.

• Identified community needs and linked with government agencies and other institutions.

• Assist in developing specific training materials or ensuring availability with other NGOs and organizations are utilized Support and guide the Field staff CDO and CW/Volunteer Willing to live and work in remote areas and to do considerable traveling.

• Prepare work plan with Project Manager. Ensure weekly and monthly reports are done properly and provide all necessary documentation to the field office.

• Accomplishes other functions/duties that eventually and additionally may be requested to perform by Project Manager
