Job Responsibilities:
∎ Audit Planning/ Design: A) Ensure that proper compliance are followed across the organization through development and implementation of internal Audit plan, policies, programs & SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). B) Initiate cost saving program by developing policies for the best internal control system and commencing new methodologies to improve the existing process. C) Substantiate a planned and systematic audit culture by maintaining audit calendar through scheduling audit programs, developing prioritizing matrix based on daily distractions and analyzing how reports are aligned with organization’s goals.
∎ Operational Audit: A) Ensure the efficiency of business operations by analyzing & investigating operational aspects of business units on which the appropriate modifications will be needed in order to support the processes. B) Ensure proper utilization of Company’s resources (personnel, property, funds, assets etc.) through identifying the underlying causes of any inefficiencies or wasteful practices. C) Ensure accuracy in salary & final settlement by checking & verifying salary calculation, pay rates, wages, overtime, increment, bonus etc.
∎ Financial Audit: A) Ensure that every transaction related to purchase, sales, bill, boucher, delivery challan is relevant, reliable, comparable and understandable by identifying & assessing the documents through proper verification of timely and whole submission of data and financial transactions. B) Ensure that all types of payments & receipts vouchers are dependable and trustworthy by thoroughly checking all the transactions and relevant documents of the company made during the audited period.
∎ Engineering Audit: A) Ensure optimal operational efficiency of business units by performing engineering audit in different areas such as electrical, mechanical, civil & Automobiles etc. B) Minimize cost by identifying energy saving opportunities through proper verification of electrical systems, electricity bills & rate of price of electrical purchase items. C) Assure mechanical integrity by ensuring that equipment is fabricated from the right materials and is properly installed, maintained and replaced to prevent unplanned failures. D) Improve the lifespan and efficiency of buildings by monitoring all the ongoing civil construction work, all civil assets and building envelopes through performing pre & post audit.
∎ Investigations: A) Substantiate a well-organized corporate environment by conducting an impartial, unbiased investigations that demonstrate some of the common characteristics of potentially fraudulent activities. B) Demonstrate an employer’s commitment to a safe & healthful workplace by identifying & correcting root causes for conflicting interpretations through interviews and observation of suspects and witnesses or by reviewing and analyzing records and logs. C) Ensure fairness & transparency by maintaining integrity and confidentiality whenever investigations are conducted
∎ Market Audit: A) Improve the efficiency of business by conducting regular market audit to check all kinds of price rates of purchase items, materials and dealer & distributor’s issues. B) Ensure that organization’s marketing functions are accurate, relevant, reliable, and aligned with defined processes and best practices by verifying different issues of specific concerned such as Cement, ceramics, LPG, pulp & paper etc .
∎ Purchase & Procurement Audit: A) Enhance procurement efficiency by checking & investigating irregularities in purchase orders and purchase requisitions and party payments etc. B) Ensure that a fire and reasonable negotiation done in terms of cost, contract length, payment terms, contract volume, delivery/implementation timing and Vendor performance metrics.
∎ Risk Management: A) Ensure a safe & sound environment by providing recommendations for appropriate risk mitigation controls through identifying & classifying different types of risk such as operational, financial & systematic risk. B) Reveal operational efficiencies & opportunities to save cost through implementation of a robust risk management plan that will help an organization build policies and procedures around avoiding potential threats and measures to minimize their impact if it occurs.
∎ Asset & Inventory Audit: A) Ensure the accuracy of inventory by conducting inventory audit on a regular interval through preparing monthly and quarterly variance summary reports. B) Optimize the assets usability by determining the current value of company’s physical assets and monitoring asset performance and recommending corrective measures.
∎ Shipping Audit: A) Manage cost overrun by examining design plans and inspecting standards of constructions for vessels along with measuring ships for tonnage and loading line assignment. B) Streamline smooth shipment by identifying descrifencies through checking loop holes regularly in operation, technical & procurement issues of shipping. C) Confirm safety & regulatory compliance by ensuring emergency and safety equipment to be checked properly under realistic operating conditions through ascertaining the ship’s condition.
∎ C & F Audit & International Trade: A) Ensure transparency in C & F related activities by checking & verifying different types of export and import documents such as PI (Pro-forma Invoice), LC (Letter of Credit), BL (Bill of Lading), BE (Bill of Entry) etc. B) Ensure smooth trade through verifying BEZA IP (Import Permission) related documents, custom duty, port charges, agent charges and depot charges etc. C) Assure that international trades are complied with different international bodies’ rules and regulations such as WTO and SAFTA as well as local rules and regulations such as Customs ACT, Export and Import Policy and VAT ACT etc.
∎ Reporting: A) Ensure that there is an effective system for accurate, reliable and timeous audit reporting. B) Ensure accuracy and conformity with established classifications in monthly, quarterly and annual auditing reports through reviewing and analyzing various operational, financial & engineering issues.
∎ Coordination with other Departments: A) Ensure a bridge of cooperation with other departments by maintaining co-ordination with different functional line such as Supply chain Dept., Sales Dept., Marketing Dept. and Head Office etc.
∎ Team Guardianship: A) Take care of team members through motivation, inspiration and guidance that encourages team bonding within the department. B) Maximize the potentiality of team members by developing & growing them through training, mentoring & supervising that contribute to the growth of the organization
∎ Relationship with Management: A) Maintain good relationship with Management by ensuring proper support which includes identify opportunities for efficiencies, profitability improvement, loss control and reduction, revenue enhancement and operational improvements. B) Develop collaborative relationship with all the Business Leaders of MGI through maintaining proper bridge of cooperation, facilitation & group cohesiveness

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Leadership, Interpersonal, Analytical & Report Writing skill
∎ Must have strong command over written and verbal communication in English.
∎ Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Package
